I have seen 0% financing from time to time and you are correct about a 0% loan beating out inflation if you can stretch the payments over a period of time. I would agree with 99% of the content, BUT I would argue that financing a car can be better than paying cash. <br /><br />Example: The key assumption is that the rate of financing is less than inflation.
